    Comfort for the long haul.

The Red Chili Men's Spirit VCR Climbing Shoe gets you through big walls, multi-pitches, and a full day of climbing comfortably. With a flat last and a neutral asymmetric curvature, the Spirit gives a versatile performance for cracks, slabs, and vertical face climbs. Its synthetic upper has a minimal toe cap to reduce stretching while still molding to your toes for overall comfort. Red Chili added ImpactZone EVA to the heel for cush where it counts, and the leather footbed reduces slippage overtime. The RX2 Rubber sole gives a great grip on any rock from limestone to sandstone.

I have had these shoes for almost a year now, and they're great! I bought them as my first climbing shoe back in May 2015 and used them while learning to climb (primarily indoors) for 3-5 days a week all summer long as well as going outdoors 1-2 days a week. Come winter I was only climbing inside 2-4 times a week and they started developing holes in the toes. NOTE: I kick the wall a lot . I'd say the took quite the beating, and wore really well. I tried them in a few cracks, which I wouldn't recommend, and that wore the fabric around the toes.
They're not very aggressive so when they began to wear out I was feeling ready for an upgrade. However, they're incredibly comfortable!!! With a lot time they stretched but I'd bought small and they conformed to my feet quite nicely.
Overall I'd recommend this shoe to anyone in that beginner V1-V4 ish range. Send hard!
