Description

The tech-loaded team choice.

The Raiden Phantom Snowboard Binding delivers team-tested response and shock absorbing power for manhandling high-speed run-ins and flat landings. The FTI Evo 2 chassis offers a quick-reacting flex for high-powered riding, while two massive airbags dampen impact to prevent bruises and reduce fatigue. As if all that weren't enough, the steel-reinforced Cable Connector strap mounts mean you'll never sweat breaking a strap when the temperatures plummet and bindings get brittle.

  • Asym X Beam highback offers direct energy transfer and more comfort by mirroring the angle of your legs
  • FTI Evo 2 Air aluminum/composite chassis for lightweight response and easy heelcup adjustment
  • Dual Air Dampening pods deliver tons of shock-absorbing power without compromising the responsive flex or adding weight
  • Ergo Cut ankle straps with Flex Window offer a secure, comfy fit over various boot shapes and sizes
  • Revert Window toe strap provides secure hold either over the front or over the top of your boot
  • Forged Speedwheel aluminum buckles are super lightweight and offer smooth entry and exit thanks to the built-in LSD (Ladder Speed Device)
  • Cable Connector straps are internally reinforced with stainless steel cables to eliminate stretching and breakage
  • Micro Disc allows precision stance adjustments and maximizes the binding's available dampening surface

I am the guy getting runs in everyday before work 100+ days on the mountain. I care how my gear feels and holds up. I love the feel. No other way to put it, no need to expand on it. Durability though is a question or should I say quality. I broke the heel hinge on a cold day the 5th or 6th time out after it came loose. Exchanged it and this pair has the cushion on the high back coming unglued two days in. Glue isn't a big deal but given how much I go and how long I would want something this expensive to last I am concerned about the quality. I am giving it four stars because I don't throw my love around and these bindings got the feel all day.

I have been riding the Nitro Phantoms for the past 3 years and I am always amazed at how comfortable these are. Once you step into a pair of bindings with Air Dampening you will never go back to EVA. It is so comfortable for all types of riding. The Aysm X Highback is also very responsive and comfortable... These bindings are worth every Penny

The Raiden Phantoms by Nitro are some of the most comfortable bindings I have ever ridden. The Dual Airbags under your feet make it so easy to ride all day long - good-bye foot pain and hello all day boarding!

The X-beam highback is also very comfortable and responsive. I would recommend this binding to any snowboarder who likes freestyle snowboarding.
