The family bike trip was a success, but that bulky rack isn't exactly conducive to easy parking. Mount the Rack Stash in your garage and keep your handy bike-carrier ready for adventure. A simple installation process leaves the Stash at attention whenever you need to stow the rack for the week.

Good as advertised

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Rack Stash works great, as I upgraded bike racks to a new Yakima tray style, which is fairly heavy. As long as you take a moment to determine the studs of your garage wall, this bracket can be mounted anywhere, It keeps my Yakima off the garage floor and protected from scrapes and scratches.

Is this the new version with the adjustable plates to accept 2" and 1.25" hitches?

What hitch size does this accommodate?

It will work with a 2 inch hitch.

I could only fit my rack in my garage if it was mounted sideways. Rack Stash & Thule both said this would be fine so I bought, installed and couldn't be happier :)

Great way to store your rack

This is a great way to store your rack on the wall instead of having it always in the way on your garage floor. I also like the added holes to store any trailer hitch's as well.
