Versatile vest for active pursuits in cold weather.

Use it when you climb, wear it while you run, or warm up with it at the campsite. No matter the cold occasion, you'll appreciate the Rab Men's Strata Vest for its versatility and lightweight warmth. Made with Pertex Microlight fabric, this vest keeps the weight down so you can keep your endurance up during cold-weather activities. Its nylon and polyester mesh lining moves with you so you don't have anything holding you back when you climb through a climactic crux to the chains.

The Strata's Polartec Alpha insulation provides the same warmth found in traditional insulating fabrics, without the weight or bulk. This insulation is also highly breathable so you won't be begging for air after your run, and it still resists wind so you won't get a chill during said run. This vest has a slim-fit design so you can layer a waterproof ski shell overtop for extremely cold days at the resort. The chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack so you can attach it to your harness if you want warmth for the descent.

Rab & Polartec Alpha

Polartec Alpha is the latest evolution of synthetic insulation, offering a rare combination of light-weight warmth and true breathability.

We use Alpha throughout our Strata collection, which was designed and tested with our professional athletes on an expedition to climb new lines in Arctic Norway.
