FYI, earlier versions of this vest (up to 2009 I believe, maybe even 2010) do NOT have zipped handwarmer pockets. That is a change they made to the most recent Microlights. I just bought the Women's Microlight Vest in Aqua on closeout, and it does not have zippered pockets, so they gape a bit (I would prefer zippers for sure). But the vest is otherwise great, and I got quite a deal on it, so not a dealbreaker for me. Just be aware if buying a closeout, that it may not have zippered.

I've had a few other down vests in the past and this is, by far, the most form fitting and comfortable one I've owned. It fits under/over anything I've wanted to wear it with and it's so warm...I couldn't be more happy with it. One thing I really like is how the arm holes are made so that they go slightly past the shoulder...I feel like that really keeps the warmth in. I'm an avid bike commuter and it's really nice to have something like this vest that I can wear when I need to or stuff it into its internal pocket and put in my bag when I don't.
Sizing note:
Go by the US size (ex - UK 10 does NOT equal US 10)...and know that this material won't be stretchy at all so, if you're between two sizes, size up.
Color note:
I have the aqua and it's a bit more blue in color than the picture on here shows.

This is definitely it. This micro down vest is the most form fitting and warm vest I've ever worn. It will obviously make the wool coat look a bit puffier, but that's kind of a given, as you'll have another layer on under the coat...but it's really not too bulky at all. It has so far fit nicely under (and over) anything I've tried to wear with it.

I received this item yesterday and was so excited when I put it on and my roommate complimented how flattering it was. It's warm enough to wear over a long sleeve and still thin enough to wear under a jacket. I wore this on a hike in the pouring rain in the sierras today just under my rain shell and it kept me plenty warm. Highly recommend this vest.

I am so happy with my new purchase. So lightweight, cosy warm and great shape.... So many comments on it already...The cut is perfect, slightly going a little lower at back to keep u warm and the elastic tape trim is great as it doesn't ride up too easily....5 stars from me!!!!!
