Description

Warm, packable, and ready for winter-duty.

Why should you add the Rab Women's Microlight Down Jacket to your touring, ice climbing, backpacking, or mountaineering gear arsenal? Because you'll have a hard time finding a mid-layer that provides so much warmth while taking up so little space in your pack. The short cut and snug band at the waist and cuffs translates to a comfortable fit that locks out cold air and retains crucial warmth in bone-chilling conditions.
  • Water-resistant Pertex Microlite fabric is highly breathable to prevent sweat from accumulating in the down insulation
  • High-loft, 750-fill European goose down insulation offers an incredibly high warmth-to-weigh ratio for use in cold, high-alpine conditions
  • Short cut suits use as a mid layer under a ski shell with a powder skirt
  • Jacket stuffs into the napoleon chest pocket for easy storage

I was so excited to get this jacket. When it came it felt great (nice and light), and seemed to be made really well, however the fit was not right for me. It was too short, and the arms were too short. I am 5'6", and thin, with long arms. I prefer a slimmer fit, and couldn't get it with this jacket. This would be a great jacket if you have a different body type, or like a boxier fit.

I went thru a few jackets before I found this one, a north face which fit all strange, then this one!

I couldn't be happier, it weighs barely anything but keeps me super warm. It has been great on days where its near freezing or just a foggy day in the 60's.

The fit is nice and snug and stylish.

:)

Killer lightweight jacket!

Incredibly impressed with this jacket. My boyfriend has the Patagonia version of this, and he now wants a Rab! It's very well made, and it packs light. I also love how it is cut: form fitting, snug around the bottom with a little extra length in back, fits wonderfully under my pack and shell, and the sleeves are the perfect length. It's also very cute, which is always an added bonus!
