Description

Stay warm when you play in the mountains.

The Rab Men's Infinity Endurance Down Jacket provides lofty warmth whether you're making an ascent on a snow-capped mountain, belaying your friend on a freezing ledge, or just chilling around a campfire at night. This jacket's Pertex Quantum GL fabric helps keep it super light, and its Pertex Endurance coating makes the Infinity Endurance windproof, breathable, and highly water resistant. Insulated with 210 grams of 850-fill power, hydrophobic European goose down, this jacket is extremely lofty, very warm, and extremely light for the heat it produces.

The Infinity Endurance has a huge hood that you can adjust to cinch down tight over your head when it's windy, or you can loosen it up to make room for a climbing helmet. It also has a wire brim to give the hood nice and sturdy protection from sunlight and falling debris. This jacket has elasticize cuffs and 2 drawcords at both sides of the hem so you can prevent any unwanted winds from blowing up in it. Rab included a stuff sack for this highly-compressible jacket so you can take it with you anywhere whether you're concerned about space or not.

the picture makes it look like either the sleeves are long or the waist is short. Does anyone have a comment on fit?

Responded on

I have found that the sleeves are unusually long which makes me consider returning it. Additionally, a previous commentator stated that the down was NOT hydrophobic, which is counter to what the product manufacturer states on its website. So either he knows something that he is privy to or he is misinformed......

Responded on

sleeves are long which works for me (36" sleeve) but also work well for reaching. Hydrophobic coating on down was added in current model year, older models/colors will have regular down.

Is the down in the Infinity Endurance hydrophobic? Is hydrophobic down water resistant?

Responded on

The down in this Jacket is not Hydrophobic, which usually means that the manufacturer has coated the down with a special coating that makes the down resistant to absorbing water. This jacket does have a Pertex shell though, which is a water resistant fabric, so you can wear this in wettish conditions and it should shed water for a bit.

Responded on

Have recently purchased this jacket, I am now concerned as to whether or not this jacket does have hydrophobic goose down or not. According to the Rab website and the tags attached to my jacket, it does have hydrophobic down....yes or no?

Responded on

According to every piece of marketing for this jacket, it does indeed have hydrophobic down. People who are saying it doesn't may be getting it confused with the regular Rab Infinity (not Endurance) model which does not. That was one of the several improvements in the Endurance model.

Responded on

It depends on the model year-their current models have the coated down while the previous years were just regular down.
