    Ultralight alpine warmth.

As part of Rab's Ascent collection, the Rab Men's Continuum Hooded Down Jacket excels in harsh alpine environments and downright nasty conditions. Saving serious weight for the long uphill slog, the Continuum's advanced Pertex Quantum GL shell and inner-layer use precisely woven nylon yarns (10-denier or less) for superlight protection that's virtually windproof (1.0 cc max) and water-resistant. 850-fill European goose down traps fiery heat without being bulky, thanks to the jacket's mini stitch-through baffles. Additionally, the jacket's down insulation uses a hydrophobic treatment to prevent the insulation from losing its heat-trapping loft in damp alpine conditions.

    Warm, light, packable

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

I've had the Continuum for about a year and prefer it over all my other jackets when the temperature drops below 50F. It's so warm that anything above ~50F and you will bake though.

It has a great fit for people with an athletic build. So far I've had zero issues with down escaping. I like the little bill on the hood. I'm definitely a Rab fan now!

    Superior to Competition

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: large

I tried on the ArcTeryx, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, and Patagona versions of this jacket, and Rab is superior in every way. The down is place perfectly on the chest and back. The down is super high quality and lightweight, and not too puffy to wear in the city. Drawstrings at the bottom. Great hood with draws and room for helmet.
This jacket isnt the most extreme cold weather jacket, but its perfect for mid-range stuff.

    stylish and warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: M

This down jacket is warm and stylish. The slim cut fits very very, looks great, and also keeps wind from coming in. Also lightweight and quite stackable.

    Rab's Lightest Stuffable Down Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

The Rab Continuum Hooded Down Jacket is the lightest down jacket that Rab has ever made, and that's why I got it. Its 850 fill hydrophobic down provides warmth in an instant - a perfect peice to keep in your pack on the skin track (it's super small when packed-down), and bust out at the top for some serious heat when you need it most.

    Rab Hydrophobic Down

In the early days, Rab Carrington built his brand around down insulation, and we still see down manufacturing as a core part of the Rab brand today.

All of our down insulated products are filled with the highest quality Hydrophobic Down, developed in conjunction with Nikwax. The hydrophobic treatment is applied at source and is seen as the next step in our progression in down manufacturing.

This page says the fill weight is 4oz but Rab's page (http://rab.equipment/us/shop/men/down-insulation/continuum-hoodie) says the fill weight is 5oz. So what's the fill weight?
