Featherweight windbreaker destined to go with you on any outdoor adventure.

The Rab Men's Cirrus Wind Top is a breathable windbreaker that will keep you comfortable whether you're running into a chilly wind, climbing on a breezy face, or camping in a gusty canyon. Its Pertex Quantum fabric makes this top incredibly light, windproof, and yet breathable so you aren't stifling at the end of your run. Its hood allows you to wear a helmet over it without any uncomfortable bulk rubbing your hair the wrong way. Its Lycra edges keep the hood in place so it doesn't blow all over your face when you're finding the next climbing hold. The left pocket doubles as a stuff sack so you can compress this jacket down and take it with you on a backpacking trip without sacrificing much space or weight.

  • Pertex Quantum fabric
  • Under-helmet Lycra-edged hood with kitty clip closure
  • 2 A-line hand-warmer pockets, one doubles as stuff sack
  • Reflective trim

rab is rad

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

yo when i got this thing in the mail, my first impression is i gotta return this thing. it is thinner than paper and weighs nothing. its like saran wrap with a baby zipper on it. (left handed too). must be some european thing. but me being super lazy never got around to it. so i brought on my next trip down southern AZ. It was perfect, kept the sun off me, broke the wind, and feels real nice on your skin. pretty durable too. i thought it was gonna rip the whole time but it held up.

would this work in the rain?

So far so great!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I've used this jacket on 2 short backpacking trips so far and it has been great! With temperatures in the low 40's/high 30's I was very comfortable while backpacking with only a short sleeve base layer and the Rab Cirrus.
I thought for sure while doing some bushwhacking I was going to tear a sleeve off, but the fabric is much more durable than I anticipated. No rips or tears yet.
I got this jacket in the Chartreuse color, and it is not as crazy bright as it looks on the web. I think visibility is important while on the bike or the trail which is why I opted for this color. Nice.
The fit is true to size, I am 6'1" 185# and I got the large which fits just right.
Great product performs very well!!
Only 2 things that don't thrill me about this jacket:
1. It doesn't pack down the smallest when you use the pocket as a stuff sack.
2. The main zipper is on the left instead of the fine but takes some getting used to.
