Quiksilver didn't make the Boys' Heron Shorts out of birds. And they weren't designed specifically for bird-watching. After hours of research, the only connection we could find between the Great Blue Heron and the Quiksilver Short is that an unfortunate young man named Malcolm Heron was wearing them when he tried to fly from the roof of his house into his pool. Malcolm missed. He's OK, but he's developed a little bit of twitch since the accident.
