Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had this knife for several years now.. It's been used for camping, hunting, fishing, cooking, pretty much everything. Extremely high quality for the price. Sharpen that blade up every now and then and you're ready for anything!

Just another classic pivot from Look. I've been loyal to Look for years for their Pivot bindings, and these may be my favorite yet. They are great for ripping groomers as fast as you can possibly move, stomping cliffs and booters, and kill it in pow! I know there are lighter bindings on the market, but for the safety/peace-of-mind the pivot heel provides I just can't give them up... Look 4 Life

After having issues the last few seasons with FT boots, my feet have never been happier. I use these boots daily free-riding around the resort and side country. They are extremely solid allowing you to charge as hard as you can go, yet soft enough to send it on that booter. I've toured with this boot twice now (praying for more pow) and they have performed flawlessly. Walk mode is great for the bar too!

I use this ski as my "every day ski." They are awesome to free ride around the mountain. I have ridden them on days with upwards a foot of fresh pow and the little bit of rocker killed it. I also like to cruise through the park when conditions are soft and these skis have been extremely fun to hit jumps with. I've nicknamed this ski my "crud crushers" because the few days I skiid the local resort when conditions were not so great--this ski was still great! Very playful!

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I've ridden this ski about 15 days in the PNW. They killed it in early December while storms were dumping pow. I've also skied them on days with only a few fresh inches and they killed it as well.. Very solid to charge on, yet playful as can be.

I just got these boots for a backpacking trip into the West Rim Trail of Zion National Park.. boots had great traction for the hairy mountain goat sections that are common in Zion, but the boots rubbed the upper part of my foot. The only way to make the rubbing stop was to loosen the boots or take them off.. Bottom line- the boots just didn't fit my foot well.. The GTX worked great through a few sloppy sections of the trail.
