I am a former Dana Astralplane and Black Diamond user. I have climbed and hiked in the Bolivian Andes. I had not heard of this France-based company until purchasing their Peuterey from Outback. I am 72" and 180#. The pack is nicely-proportioned and fits well, with appropriate shoulder and hip padding and plenty of adustment options. The pockets and side-entry zipper are generally well-placed. The internal water bladder pocket should be deeper, but this is by no means a deal-killer. At three weeks, it's early to talk about durability, but straps are well-placed and seem to be anchored securely. Haven't used the crampon attachment, but it is very well-made. If it's durability matches its design, this will remain an excellent mid-sized pack at a great special sale price.

I wear backpacks hard. I am replacing a Black Diamond that has served well for four years. This pack is slightly larger than previous. It has good capacity for a day pack, and it has better shoulder strap cushioning, nice detailing, well-sewn seams, and is is well-balanced. I am pleased with this purchase so far and I am happy to learn of the Millet company from France.
