Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

These boots are great!

Str8jkt was the selling point for me on these boots, from what I was able to try out, it really keeps my heels locked in- in my old boots my heels always felt way too loose & would give me trouble applying power the way I wanted to my board.

Unfortunately I had to return these are they fit exactly true to size.

I wear 9, 9.5's for running shoes and these fit exactly like them - even more so since they're a boot. But taking swelling during riding as well as socks & liners, I know I'll have a hard time fitting into these once winter rolls around.

Returning the pair I got & hoping to pick up some size 10's somewhere to I can test them out & write a more in depth review later.

Came with a mesh harness bag. My first harness that I own. Was previously using Petzl Pandion Harness that was provided at the climbing gym that I go to. Feels lighter, more compact, and definitely more comfortable. What little cushioning they have goes a long way.

Takes a little longer to strap in than the Petzl Pandion Harness, but I guess it's cause it hasn't been broken in.

Exactly what I was looking for. I picked up the Triact version. It's not the traditional self-locking gate locking gate. You have to pull up, twist, then the gate can be opened, which is nice cause I like the additional safety. It does take a few tries however to be able to open it one handed, but it can be done with practice.
