Got the white color, which is partially transparent. So beware if that is an issue for you. Looks nice and the extra long tail will keep you dry from wheel spray. It's a real athletic cut and not at all blousy . I'm 6'0" and 188lbs and the XL is just right over a thin base layer and long sleeve jersey. If I had much more on underneath I'd need a bigger size than that. So, as with all Castelli gear - size up. This appears to be well made and a good value for $50.

Only have a couple of miles on these knickers tonight, but so far I love them. Comfortable, nice pad and well designed. They feel great on your legs. Had to return my first pair for a larger size: I'm 6'0" and 188 and usually wear a 34 in jeans. Trying on the large I felt like I was tearing the stitching. The XL fit perfectly.

I'm a true large, and fit was fine. Shoulders are generous, (but not overly so for me) but that keeps the jacket from binding while riding - makes for good range of motion and comfort. Very warm on my 60 degree ride today with just a tank base layer underneath. Roomy enough to layer more for colder days. Look is awesome and construction solid, w/ nice zipper and comfortable neck. I'm guessing this is a 2009 model, but so what? Considering the new ones run over $200, I'll give this one 5 stars for look, comfort and value.
