Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got this for car camping trips for myself and my wife. We used to sleep in my ultralight Big Agnes Fly Creek 2 person tent so the huge increase in space is really great. I've used this once and it was windy and wet and we stayed dry inside. The tent did a good job of not flapping around in the wind.

My only complaints are that the vestibule could be bigger for a 3 person tent, the stuff sack should probably be larger for a car camping tent because weight is not really an issue and I hate having to get perfect folds to get it comfortably back in the bag.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this to put on my tandem bike to ride from various local establishments at night. The light does a decent job of illuminating obstacles and letting drivers know you're there.
My only complaint is that the mount is a stretchy rubbery band that I feel will wear out or get heat damaged sooner than solid plastic, but time will tell.

Fit: True to size

I use these for biking to work because I have a lens set for during the day and then a set for the ride home in the evening. It's fairly easy to change the lenses, but I haven't learned how to do it without getting finger prints everywhere. I don't know if it's the vents on the frame or a coating on the lenses, but they seem to recover from condensation faster than my last pair of sunglasses. The case that comes with them is very handy and has pockets for your extra lenses.

Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

My fiancee was looking for a jacket to run the Seattle marathon in. This one is very lightweight but the material didn't seem like it would be very breathable, it almost had a thin plastic feel. She ended up going with http://www.backcountry.com/gore-running-wear-air-gt-as-jacket-womens
The price points are very different, but this would be good for someone looking for a reasonably priced rain jacket for hiking/walking in.

My fiancee got this to run the Seattle marathon. She is tall and often has problems with sleeve length on clothing but this fit great. It has held up great in rain and wind and breathes well. The back pocket is really useful for Honey Stingers, gloves, etc.

I bought this with the Vaporshell pants to make my winter bike rides weatherproof. This jacket has held up in light rain and snow and the breathability is nice. My only complaint is the "velcro" cuffs. They are pretty flimsy and definitely not Velcro brand.

I bought these for riding my bike because bike specific pants like this are usually really expensive. As others mentioned, the cuffs are bell-bottomy but it's nice because it's easy to slip them on with shoes. The wide cuffs are not ideal for biking so I just tuck them into my shoe covers.
I rode a few times in light rain and snow and they kept me dry while breathing enough to keep me from getting swampy.

I bought these to hike the Zion Narrows in the fall. I wear a size 11.5 and they fit nicely into my Merrell water shoes. They did a good job of keeping my feet warm as long as the cuff didn't go under water, but most of the hike was near knee deep so I'd have to turn my foot upside down and dump the extra cold water out once I got onto land.
These would probably do a great job for their intended purpose, boating.
