Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These skis are amazing. They kill everything you throw at them and more. Not too bad for rails and urban, while being great for mid-large jumps and sidecountry hits. Carve like crazy both ways. The only reason they are not a 5... they can get waterlogged a bit easier than other skis, and they are also a bit heavier than most other park skis. But overall, they are killer and you should get them!

These are super fun in pretty much all conditions, I have had them in belly button deep pow, and they perform well. I have had them on ice... and they do well. They are super playful and light as heck. Get em!

How small-person friendly are these? I am 5'3 100lbs, my concern is that the 161 will be too stiff and burly for me to pop onto high rails and spin fast. Will this happen?

I would go with look, dynastar, or rossignol. All are the same esentially but dynastars can be found on another sight for much cheaper than looks and rossi's. All have much more travel in the heel piece. Much better quality
