What length is the most apropriate for me?
172lbs 5.8"and like to take some speed, but more into ski/pillow skiing.
Im thinking of the 179 for that extra agility, but at the same time i feel 189 for float and the fact that im buying a 132mm ski; why not go all in? :)
Cant decide and need some help.
and also: where should you mount this bbs?

Mounting and length issue:
Looking for ski that will be used mainly for tree/powder/pillows.
(Japan , EU alps)
I love k2 so the Pettitor seems like the perfect choice in their line (not a huge fan for skis over 125 waist, hence not going hellbent) is it a good choice of ski for this?
Lenghtwise i've been looking at the 179 for that playful feel (172lbs) but i cant decide if i should be brave and go for the 189 version. Already have a pair of CD3 (190cm) charger skis for those big faces.
mounting: dead center is for me a no-go. But how about -2 from center for that playful feel? (like flips, 360 etc but i'm skiing face forward most of the time.)
Appreciate tips and suggestions.

I am planing on buying a pair of Sideseth but im stuck in some decision making.
First of all i dont know if i should go for the 181 or 188. Im currently on a pair of 181 sidestash but i would like the sideseth to be my big mountain ski, but still "nimble" (as a big mountain ski can get)
Im not sure where to mount either. Im thinking of factory, even though i dont know where to mount. My buddy mounted his 181 Obsethed +4. Need help fast, gona buy them this week, and ski next weekend :)

I dont know your spec, but since you bought the 169 i guess your fairly short and light weighted.
I would mount them +5 (-2.5 from dead center) That will make for an excellent tree turning ski.
I would recommend either the STH 12/FFG 12 or any other bindning with a DIN of up to 12. If you are planning on keeeping the bindnings as you grow bigger, then i'll recommend something like a 14 DIN bindning.

get a break between 115-125mm. you can often squeeze a 115 to fit quit easily.

Where should i mount my Obsethed? I ski mostly regular, like 1% of the time switch.
I Currently have a pair of Bent Chetler mounted -2 form team.
