Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small

A lightweight, "Paclite Gore-Pex" rain pant with 1/2 to 3/4 side zips for easy of getting on and off with boots on. These were what I wanted use on long day hikes and backpack trips. The Sizing was a little weird for me . Im 6ft 170lbs and 33inch waist. The M fit the best if not a tad on the athletic fitting side (which I prefer). Large was too big in waist, I had to cinch the waist band all the way; i had hiking pants on during the fitting; and the length of the legs was too long, and I was worried about rubbing during hiking. I went with the Medium and still feel they are just a tad small but not a big problem. The real problem is these started to wet out on the first use in the backcountry, and by the second day they were a fail after just 2 hours in the rain. Wet-out was down the entire upper front half of the pant and the lower foot of the pants. The breathability was now compromised, and i started to get nice and moist on the inside of the pant. I also discovered that they are not very durable, as sitting down for one meal I already had a small hole in the seat, lucky my upper shell shielded the hole from rain. The wet out may just be a OR/gore-tex defect/warranty issue, and may not reflect on all of these pants. To have these kind of problems on the first use of these pants is not what I expected. Unfortunately I will have to go to gore-tex or OR for return as I purchased these in winter and have not used them until summer so BC.com will not accept the return. OR makes some great gear but these did meet my expectations. Hope these work better for others.

Color

Just to help show the "diablo" color; the strap in this pic (which is not part of the jacket) is hunter orange and black. Overall the jacket color was just too bright for my liking, and had to return. Other features are pretty sweet and as expected from a OR jacket (watch the video). Im 6' 175# and the M was a bit on the loose side but not bad.

This fleece jacket is a slim athletic fit, and a bit different then most US fits/styles. Im 6 ft 165# usually get a M in brands such as TNF, Patagucci, OR, but based on other reviews I got a Large. I probably could have gone XL. I like the contoured fit of the large but not much room for more than a t-shirt or base layer. The pit areas ride a bit high and do not have extra fabric so at times the sleeves ride up a little when really reaching out. I use this as a around town and campus as a casual hoody. It does not block 100% wind but a light breeze will go unnoticed. The lowest temp I used this in was 20F and was still plenty warm. I got this on SAC and would not have payed full retail price. Oh, and yes european zippers, nice furry soft inside that gets a little static; still I kept the jacket.

Eliminates the need to reposition skin to trim the other edge. Not sure how others have had problems. Make sure to trim from tip to tail or you will be fighting the entire cut. Used this tool for my first time cutting my own skins. Worked great on the BD Ascension STS. Well worth the $4.
P.S. G3 also has a great Twin tip Connector Kit that is compatible with the BD STS skin.

Im 6' 170 lbs. Got a M & L on SAC. I wear both sizes, depends on my mood / activity but find myself going for the M more often because is seems to perform better when a little closer to the skin. Guess it just depends how you want your shirt to fit but keep in mind the material is stretchy. I would also highly recommend the Stoic Merino 150 crew but i found the L in the Merino fits like a M Breath 90 shirt.
