Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: Runs small
Okay so here is my update. Even with my optimism I am sad to say that my sole has also started to pull away. I'll put up a pic soon but right next to where my cleat is attached to my shoe, the sole is peeling away. I am going to superglue it because I like the shoe that much. I like the walkability of the shoe. There are the Pearl Izumi X Project which would be my next pic but I don't have enough money to get them. I still have to give the shoe a 3 star for style and comfort. "It's so enduro Bro!"
I wear an 11 US shoe and I had to return these for the 45.5. I was a little worried that I might have to step up to the 46 but I took the chance and wore them around my office and then drove home from work in them. By the time I got home I could tell this shoe was going to change my life. I've yet to put them through the ringer but I have a hard time believing that the soul would pull away from the shoe like in the other review, I think his shoe must have just been a manufacture defect. These shoes are by far the most comfortable mountain bike shoe I have ever walked in, but somehow the feel incredibly responsive one peddling. Don't get me wrong they are not a trail running shoe but they are much more comfortable than anything else I've walked in.
