Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs small

Did no fit me, it was too tight across the chest and under arms. This only seems to happen with Arcteryx non-sport jackets. Tried size small, am 34B 5"5" 125lbs. The waist and bottom was a bit large. I have moderate size shoulder muscles. This seems to be built for women with big hips and stomach and no upper body strength; not the typical outdoor customer. It is a little bit crinkly sounding but is very lightweight and not thick.

Familiarity: I've used it several times
Fit: True to size

I did not like the fleece strip all the way down to the wrists. It bind to long sleeve layers underneath, restricts arm movement and is hard to slide my arms in unless wearing short sleeves. The shoulders and chest did not fit as comfortably as other Arcteryx jackets.

I bought two of these the first year they came out in 2010 by accident; meant to order only one. It has a feminine shape but fits tight in the upper arm area, and is loose in odd places on the torso. The front zipper placket is very thick and bulky, and uncomfortable to wear zipped up. It sticks out about an inch from the body and makes you look thicker. I regret buying them and find myself avoiding them. The fabric is warm and soft, nice against the skin, but sheds a lot on the inside and binds to inner layers. Wish Icebreaker had a better return policy.

When I tried these on the first thing I noticed was that there is a seam running up the middle of the back of each leg which feels itchy and horrible. It has stiff thick stiches that pull at my skin while standing still, walking, sitting, moving... The back seams run from the waist and frame the back pocket and down to the ankle, so it makes an ridiculous looking "H" on the posterior.

FYI the ankle adjusters have a plastic cylinder with a spring inside.

The fabric is great; I like the brushed lining and smooth surface which doesn't pick up lint or pet hair, too bad the design stinks
