This jacket is AWESOME! It's totally bomber. I wear it most days for all sorts of activities and it never lets me down! It takes up no room in my pack when I have to store it. It's lightweight and still keeps me warm. It's got to be the quietest Gore-tex jacket I've ever owned. The hand is super soft feeling!
The jacket is lightweight enough that I was initially worried about it and after putting wearing it hiking, back country snowboarding through tight trees I think this thing is nearly bulletproof.

My husband had a pair of these that lasted him more than 15 years! He loved them so much I got him another pair for the Holiday and he's as in love as he was with the original pair! They are super breathable and he wears them hiking and ice climbing mainly. He's 5'9" and they are a great height for him and stand nice and tall on his shins. They are waterproof and are fantastic at keeping his legs warmer on a cold/blustery day. When this pair bites the dust 15+ years from now, we'll be getting him another of this exact pair!

My husband had a pair of these that lasted about 4(ish) years. Not bad considering how much wear he put on them. We had gotten him another boot/brand and while comfortable at first they made him long for the LaSportiva Eco GTX boot he had had. Got him another pair AND the same in a GTX shoe version and he is a most happy man again. Happy husband, happy hiking!

My hands run cold, all year. I was thinking that I would be able to use these gloves only when the temps were chilly and not cold. I was wrong. I wore them hiking a couple of days ago and it was in the 20's. My hands warmed right up in them and actually started to get hot. What a pleasant surprise! It was also quite windy out. These gloves are Windstopper, and I didn't feel any breeze through them at all! They perform well with leather palm. A nice all around glove!

After looking extensively for a new Trail Running Shoe I came across the Dynafit Pantera GTX. I purchased these without being able to try them on and I am so happy I did! I've used them a number of times in various conditions. They fit me like a dream; small heel cup, not wide in the front foot area; super stable heel base, great cushioning, fabulous lacing system (the tongue stays where it should) that also works as a custom fit around the foot. These shoes were fantastic straight out of the box and on both road and trail. On the trail they feel like a dream, so spongey! This morning I took them out in the rain, running through puddles and muck and my feet stayed dry the entire time thanks to the Gore-tex membrane. It has been quite warm out a few times and my feet have been able to breathe nicely and not overheat. Well done Gore-tex and Dynafit!

Cadillac of Backpacking Boots!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Fit: True to size

I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I was a long time wearer of another brand but after trying these on and wearing them I am a convert. I have taken these out for numerous 3+ day backpacking trips and they have not let me down. They are lightweight, with a sturdy sole, sturdy uppers and cushioning. These also have a small heel cup (I've always had slip before), and just enough room in the toe box for my piggies to wiggle happily. Having Gore-tex means they are waterproof, and they are! I was out on a 3 day trip and it was a total mud and wet -fest slog. My feet were the only part of me that was warm and dry. I have NEVER gotten blisters with these boots either! To be honest, I am so happy to put these on my feet and get moving. Every time I wear them I say outloud, "These boots are the Cadillacs of backpacking boots!" It's true!
