I'm hoping I got a faulty set and that Cutter will replace the three 4-packs that I bought in 2008. At first the tubes would hold air for about 48 hours, then only 24, then finally only 30 minutes. Made it to a friend's house having to constantly repump the whole way. We checked for leaks, but there were none that we could find. Finally we stuck the whole tube in a bucket and what do we see? Bubbles coming slowly out of the top of the valve itself, which was screwed down tight. This ended up happening four more times, one time stranding me at 2:00am. If that valve can get fixed, then these will be worth the price. Otherwise, be prepared to pump often.

EDIT: Tubes are getting replaced via an RMA. Helpful gear expert said via chat that the Cutter stuff has improved recently. Will update when I get the replacements.

These are a nice-looking pair of baggy bike shorts. I've been using them on my commute and now no longer look like a spandex freak. The material feels nice and cool, and the chamois is comfy. Since there are no belt loops, though, I'd err on the side of getting it a little small. I normally wear a 34, but I had to exchange it for a 32, which fit perfectly once I cinched up the adjustment straps a bit. The lining is not removable, but even so, if you can score these on sale they're definitely worth it!

I got these and a pair of the short boxers in black to wear under bike shorts and long underwear (think CR-X pants for skiing and other cold sports). 34" waist, 6'0" tall and both the medium and large fit well; the fabric stretches easily and stays comfy and that way I can choose my degree of "compression."
