These skis were poppy and fun. I rode them about 5 days. Mostly pipe at Park City, a little through the jump line. Overall these skis were just too heavy for my taste. If Line could build a ski that was fun/responsive like this but weighed about half as much it'd be much appreciated.

I put some look px15s on mine and they are awesome super solid. Kinda heavy but I know I'm always locked in. Mounting depends on how you want to ride them. I do a lot of backcountry jumping on mine and switch pow landings. So I have the 3cm back from center. If you ride them more traditionally stick with the midsole point provided on the ski.

Bacon is stiffer and better all over the mountain. I prefer something in a 175 but I demoed these last year and loved how well they worked all over.

Elizabeth is a little softer so it depends on your style of ski.

I spend a lot of time in the backcountry and also in the park. These would be a great touring ski if you are looking for something to take your park skill onto less controled more intense terrain.

There has been some positive and negative about this beacon, having used the Ortovox F1 and the new S1. I'm set on this beacon. Are there advantages to a super expensive beacon like the S1 sure but what you sacrifice (processing speed) is not worth the extra dough. I don't need a thermometer, inclinometer and compass. I need to find my buddy fast. This beacon does the job and it has done it a little too well. That is why you see companies throwing meaningless extras onto their beacons. There are advantages to a 3rd antennae that you don't get with this beacon (wait for the tracker 2 - january 2009,if all goes well). The DTS simply is the best, most reliable and easiest to use around. This is more than adequate for any backcountry enthusiast who has had any sort of. Stay safe!

For those of us that commute early and ride late into the night it is important to be seen. This light is great. It comes with several mounting option so it will mount almost anywhere. I put it on my old 70s schwinn parallel with the seatstay. You will not ever be disapointed with this light!
