These mitts are so warm its ridiculous. In fact thats my only complaint about the mitts is that a lot of the time they are too warm. But thats Ok I've got a pair of the Hestra Freeride's to get me through the warm days. They're super waterproof and work great. The nice thick hestra leashes are comfy and let you just take your mitts off and drop em without letting them fall off the lift. Like all hestras these outlast my ability to hang on to them.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are my go to pants for any backcountry adventure. They are super lightweight and very comfortable. The pants are a medium fit. Just baggy enough to no constrict movement but not so baggy that they get in the way. The cuffs are tight enough that the pants still work great with boots or shoes without dragging on the ground but just loose enough to fit around ski boots. I mostly use them for skiing and would like the cuff a little bit looser so that I don't need to unbutton the bottom to get it over my buckles. The stretchy fabric on the upper portion of the bibs keep it extremely comfortable while still making sure all the snow stays where I want it to be, on the outside. These pants are super waterproof and extremely lightweight. If you're looking for a shell pant that's not gonna weight you down, look no further. Worth every penny.

This is an excellent resort jacket. Its super tough GORE TEX Pro shell will hold up to anything. After a couple years of slamming into branches and sliding over rocks there's not a rip or tear to show for it. The shell is really warm and still going strong in the waterproof area. My only complaint is that it doesn't pack down very small so its not my choice for backcountry days, but that's the price you pay for the durability. My brand new arcteryx ripped right away where this jacket would have held up to the rock I hit.
