This pair definitely didn't disappoint. I wore them under my jeans and it was never uncomfortable (they are quite comfortable actually). For the most part, they kept me as warm as I needed to be and I never felt too warm in them (granted the most strenuous thing I did was a short hike up a hill). I usually went a week before washing them and I had no issues with odor. Definitely recommended. I thought the fly would come in handy but I never used it.

Shirt is very thin and very breathable, yet appears to be of high quality. A comfortable shirt to wear anytime. Haven't given it any endurance tests, but since it's synthetic, it may stink after a long day of wearing. Good thing is you can easily hand wash the shirt and it dries in no time. Kind of expensive for a t-shirt but the light weight makes it ideal as a workout/exercise shirt while on travel.

I bought these for a winter vacation trip to Japan. I also had a nice pair of leather gloves with cashmere lining and they didn't keep me as warm as these gloves cause they weren't as snug and cold air would get in. These gloves were very snug which also allowed me to do many things while still wearing the gloves. However, there were still many times when I had to take them off to get things done, like opening up a map or dealing with paper, etc. These gloves are pretty comfortable but they COULD be a little more comfortable as the stitching on the palm is noticeable. All in all these gloves performed great for being so thin, lightweight and cheap.
