Save your wrists!

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

If you are like me and get sore wrists from paddling, then this is the paddle for you. The ergonomic shaping of the shaft realigns your wrist into a more natural angle. Makes a day on the water more enjoyable, knowing your wrists will never get sore and bent out of shape.

Fit: True to size

I wear these pants in the wet tropics and the dry savannah tropical regions of Northern Australia while I am conducting geological surveys. I can say without a doubt they keep the mosquitos away in the jungle and the ticks away in the dry long grass. I watch my co-workers (who don't wear them) with amusement as they get covered in ticks and scratch mozzie bites all day, while I cruise through insect free.

I've got the aircontact pro 70+15 version. I've got a fractured L5 vertibrae, so hip belt comfort is important to me. The veriflex hipbelt is attached at a central pivot point behind the center of the lower back, allowing the belt to move up and down on each side as your hips do when you walk. This is simply awesome, It makes the pack feel like an extention of your body, not a burden. I'm 6'2" with wide shoulders, this pack adjusted easy to fit great. I regularly carry 25kg without any discomfort at all. If you have backproblems and are looking for a comfortable pack that can handle weight for extended trips, look no further.
