Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just did my first snowshoeing backpacking trip and spent lots of time in these in wet slushy snow where post holing was a problem without the shoes. I am 170 lbs plus 40 lbs pack with these 1125 shoes. They were extremely comfortable and the boot attachments are superior to two of my backpacking buddies with MSR straps of two styles. I could put my shoes (size 13 OSLO boots) on and off in about 1 minute (without any further adjusting) while they were 5 minutes. I used them one day for 6 hours straight where heel lift was need going up and they were very comfortable with a pack. They do not lay on top of each other nearly as flat as the MSRs but I love the looks, shape, and storage of these on each side of my pack.

Fit: True to size

After using a thin synthetic jacket that works great for layering I still needed something thin but also warmer. This jacket may look puffy but it is surprisingly still great for layering under my Mountain Hardwear Qdry shell. I am 170 and 6'1" and the Medium is great. I have long arms and smaller length torso. I also bought this jacket for my dad to layer on the ranch and he has used it for a whole winter in Nebraska and loves it.

The ventilation on the new model is good. I recently bought this mountaineering tent for camping in snow environments (early season). I have used it on one camping trip this year for 3 nights. The material is very strong, the tent's weight is very nice, and the packed size is very nice too. It takes real muscle to set this tent up with the poles and securing the poles inside after the poles are secured is taxing. The setup of the guideline strings are not intuitive. Mountain Hardware should provide some exact set-ups for in windy conditions. The room inside is good for two men and your pads. Plenty of length for 78" long pad and the head room is nice. This single wall tent does have condensation inside in the morning but not a big deal. I didn't get to test it in high winds. I thought the mention of setting up the tent from the inside was a sales gimmick but actually was nice to stay out of the wind. I did use the footprint too. During setup, don't make the side floor stakes too tight otherwise too much stress is put on the door zipper and the side material when getting inside.

This shirt is amazing. It is very very comfortable, breathable, and drys quickly. I wore it for two days solid of all day hiking before the pits formed a slight BO smell. I have worn the same shirt hiking in Norway, exercised 3 times at the gym and still had no smell (wife confirmed).

I recent got into merino wool clothing and absolutely love their comfort and odor control. If you are looking at this shirt you are probably looking at Icebreaker. This shirt is cheaper and the neckline is tighter and doesn't stretch as easy. However, I prefer the Icebreaker Tech light 150 as it is softer, more breathable, and this Stoic shirt doesn't give off your odor but when it is wet it smells like a wet goat.

At first I was skeptical due to price and the "speedo" look appeared like they would ride up on me. These are the best underwear definitely for backpacking for the following reasons: due to high quality merino wool they are not itchy and actually so comfortable at least for me (6'1 170 lbs and wore a M) I felt like I wan't wearing anything, dry fast if you swim in them, don't ride up, and I wore them hard for two days before I noticed an odor.
