Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After running mechanical for a while i bought a tarmac with di2. The results....excellent. I love the smoothness, the precision, and the durability of these shifters along with the entire di2 setup. I don't think I would ever go back to mechanical except for training purposes. For racing, di2 is the way to go especially when you are exhausted near the end of a race and it gets tough to continually throw shift levers on the mechanical setup rather than pressing a button on the di2

The thing that attracted me the most about this helmet was its style and ventilation. I love the extra venting and it has been very useful on those really hot days. The style is really unique but I find that it fits slightly awkward. Mainly i seems there is a little bit of pressure on the front of your head. I've adjusted the tightness and fitted it on in several ways but over a long ride I feel a little helmet sore which I don't experience from my other helmets.

As others have stated, these shoes are a definite winner from mavic. Nice and light, well ventilated. I wouldn't use them in the winter unless you put some shoe covers over. The carbon sole is excellent for stiffness and power transfer to the pedal. The form is excellent, i've never experienced any pains from the sole in these shoes.

I was a little skeptical at buying a Fenix headlamp since most of my other friends reccomended a petzl or a princeton tec headlamp. I went and bought it and have loved it. I love the mutliple brightness levels, the turbo is so bright I feel like I am wearing a spotlight. The red light is perfect for avoiding pesky bugs. It is very easy to detach from the strap and and the pivot on the headlamp is nice for adjusting different angles.

The watch is very good for on the go. At first I was worried that the wristband was a cheap plastic but it turned out to be pretty solid. The temperature reading is always a little off (8 degress or so) but it doesn't bother me that much. Definitely recommend it to anyone needing a watch for everyday use.
