Utah and British Columbia. Alta, Whistler/Blackcomb, and corners of the globe where big mountains and cliffs reside.
Hydro Flasks are really the best. Hot drinks are still hot seriously 5 hours later, and it's DURABLE. This specific flip lid is really easy and stays shut well- but if you need something that you can REALLY throw around- go with a Hydro Flask with a screw on lid. I love this mug.
I have a ton of skis- but I find that I ski my Koa 110's just about every day, from sunny choppy days to super deep storm days. An honestly- I've never been one to ski a women's specific ski because I feel like companies just "shrink and pink" their women's specific line. Not true in this one. The Koa 110 is a stiffer but super playful ski that can handle anything you throw at it (trust me) but isn't going to act like your opponent on a wrestling mat either.
The early rise tip with the traditional camber underfoot is my dream combination. It makes it so it floats and feels weightless in deep snow but let's you charge hard with agility and control when you need to.
I'm a huge fan of this ski and am being completely honest when I say, if I could dream up a ski- it would be this one.
I have a few pairs of climbing shoes and these are the ones I keep coming back to. I'm not really a hardcore climber but really enjoy it and have found these to be the best shoes for a tight fit and heel cup, while giving me a high performance grip. I have a narrow heel but wider toebox, and this shoe is fine for me- the heel is the most important part in my opinion. I used to like laces more but have found the velcro is just so much easier and faster to take on and off, and also to adjust. The FiveTen rubber is unmatched- the best rubber hands down for a climbing shoe.
A few things I love about this hoodie- the long wrist cuffs- both make it really comfy and a really cute style. Different than the typical wrists on most hoodies. It's slim cut but still really comfy, so it's flattering but still feels really cozy.
The zipper doesn't go as far up as most zip hoodies though, so more of your neck is exposed- which is a cute feature but also not as warm.
These are my choice go-to pants for running, yoga, training, etc. They are tight and offer great compression without the waist being too small or cutting off any circulation. These are my favorite in colder weather especially as they aren't crazy thin. The cut and the stitching is really flattering- makes your butt look awesome- ha! My favorite color is the "slate purple." It's not too purple-ey- more dark grey/plum ish. I usually wear size 6/7 pants and a size M is perfect for me.
This is one of my favorite tops. It's super versatile because it's cute but super comfy, goes with anything from throwing it on over workout clothes or on it's own. It's too warm for super hot days because it's a terry-type material, but perfect for layering. I wear small or medium t-shirts and the Small in this top fits me perfectly as it's sized to be loose.
This top is an amazing lightwieght top that's perfect for hiking, running, biking, any sort of sport but also is great for just walking around town if it's chilly out because it's really cute. The cut is flattering and the neck makes it more interesting than other activewear tops. Material is awesome, not stuffy, lightweight, and comfortable.
My Koa's about to drop in off of the summit of Mt Matier in British Columbia. I take these guys everywhere with me. I have 2 pairs, one with touring bindings mounted on them and one with regular freeride bindings mounted on them. From hucking to skinning, they kill it!
It's super nice to have, and much smaller than other usb chargers I have. Plus it has 2 ports! A little blue light illuminates when it's on too and its just so cute.
Has 2 ports to charge my GoPro, Iphone, both GoPros, both Iphones, gadgets galore! Plus a nice little blue light illuminates when it's plugged in.
This top is awesome- I wear it ALL the time. One thing though, it's not lightweight- it's more of a hoodie-weight and makes for the cutest apres sweater with jeans or tights or anything. It's awesome because it is one of my favorite baselayers for cold days too. Pair this with a light underlayer- then you will be cozy and toasty (the neck is extra big too so you can pull it up and use it as a gaiter too) then when you are done riding for the day- shed your jacket and pants and you look super cute and ready to go out with just what you are wearing. I love it.
This is my favorite sportsbra. The material is soft but light and wicking and it's super super comfy. It's not too tight and restricting but still has great support.
I'll be honest here when I say that this is the first womens' ski I've ever really loved to ski. Most are so soft and just seem like watered down mens skis. But this ski is the exception. The Koa 110 is a stiff, stable, hard-charging ski that has quickly become my go-to everyday tool. It's stiff and responsive, and won't flop apart at mach-speeds- the early rise tip makes it super playful and fun but the traditional camber underfoot makes it so it won't slide out from under you. It's seriously my favorite ski and I recommend it for chicks out there who need a ski who can keep up with them. Can't say enough good things about this ski!
Really cute purse, I get tons of compliments on it all the time! Great size, just big enough to fit a small paperback book but not any bigger. It's even gotten worn a little bit so it looks a little weathered and is even cuter. I got the black one and love it!
One of the best skis out there, and the best ski Fischer Makes by far. You have the durability, strength, and longevity of a Fischer ski but they have created a smooth, big mountain charger that is aggressive and has the width to be the best ski you have ever skied on in deep pow. The hull tip really makes it float through crud. You will absolutely love this ski!
Yes, the "white polished" refers to the goggle frame and the H.I. yellow and Emerald Iridium refer to the lenses. The H.I. Yellow lens is better for more cloudy days and the emerald iridium is going to be better for sunnier days.
This is the goggle I have been waiting for. Awesome looking goggle, and it's great for womens faces and smaller to medium mens faces. Fits SO comfortable, no pressure on the nose and conforms around my face so well. This goggle is my favorite by far, and trust me, I have a lot of goggles. Fits great with helmets too- unlike lots of smaller framed goggles out there. Nice work, Oakley!
We got this tent for prolonged trips where the 2 man tent couldn't comfortably fit us 2 and all our gear. I couldn't be happier with it! It's lightweight for a 4 person tent and splitting it up into 2 is manageable- it's a great "basecamp" tent. I wouldn't take it backpacking with just one other person- but this is perfect for living in for a month. The rain fly is awesome- I've been caught in some crazy week long rainstorms and we stayed dry, and our neighbors did not. The windows seemed cheesy on the rain fly but they are actually pretty nice. This tent is extremely easy to set up and quick- and the fact it comes with a gear loft and footprint is awesome. The vestibule is really nice because it's easy to get in and out of, and provides a good amount of shelter. Highly recommended.
The other half is a lanyard that clips into the buckle.
