I've now used this bag in conditions ranging from the 40's to the low teens. For the latter, unzipping and using it as a footed quilt worked best; for the colder, totally bundled up kept me toasty (and the wind was blowing 25-30 mph, so the wind chill was substantial). Packs very small if you have a valved stuff sack.
