I never understood why anyone would pay so much for a water bottle - until this came up on steepandcheap and I had to try. Totally not your average bottle! Turns out knock-offs leave the metal exposed at the top, but the sig has enamel all the way up, so after years of metal on my lips, this feels like a lovely massage every time you take a sip. Seriously. I bought another.

LOVE these shoes! I've been cycling for 10 years, but this is the first time I've really invested in a pair of shoes. I never believed it could make that much of a difference, but woah does it! I generally wear a size 8.5 shoe, the 41.0 fits like a glove. I have such a better connection to the bike in these than with my ancient, cheap shimano's. I ordered the pricier Espada's, but found that they felt nearly identical in fit and weight to the Solara, and after riding the Solara's once, I fell in love and sent the expensive ones back. On steepandcheap the Solara is an absolute steal! I was also worried the black would be hot for summer biking, but they managed to stay cool in multiple 90 deg/2-3hr rides thus far.

Love these are cold weather running/walking pants. They have flattering seaming down the leg, the nifty top seam pocket and back pocket for ID and car key. My only complaints are they are just slightly too long for me (I'm 5'5" and got a size small) and like all Stoic products, the material while it looks great and feels great, is already starting to look worn after maybe 7 wears and washes.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

These lenses are great! No squinting through your sunnies in these--they really cover and cut the glare. I have a narrow face and it's always hard to find a pair of sunnies that won't slip or look too big, but these are perfect - almost tight. So,definitely avoid if you have a larger face. Only complaint is that the lenses get smudged really easily, much more so than my Spy's or Smith's.

Recently on steepandcheap as a total steal. Had to get another pair (white), which wrap around so nicely, I actually wear them riding. Alywas get compliments whenever wearing the white or the tobacco olive.

This is my first non-osprey pack, and I am shocked at how lightweight and yet durable it is! Works great for 1-4 day adventures. I've used it as a day pack as well, but it's too bouyant for that; it needs to be weighted and fuller to sit well on my back. Also used it as a climbing bag and it held up well! Compression straps on the side have held all sorts of things and the front pocket is super handy. Overall love it!
