Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The best technical beanie I have. Although i would not wear this around town casually, it is a must have for cold weather running, snowshoeing, hiking and backpacking. This tough little bugger absorbs more liquid than a sponge while still keeping that head toasty, and it is lighter than a feather. Don't question it, just get it.

This tent is awesome. Great for car camping and backing packing, with plenty of outdoor storage room under the vestibules for your packs and the pup. Ive been snowed on, and rained on for days and never have I ever gotten wet, only the typical condensation build up. Over two years of hard-hitting, this tent has stood up to everything it has encountered. And who can argue over the price?

When that afternoon thunderstorm rolls in too quick and there is not a tree in sight, these pants go on over boots quick and keep your legs toasty and dry. I've never had a problem with these pants in more than one downpour, but if that quick storm turns into a few days of soggy weather, these pants start to lack. Once one part starts to get wet, the rest of the pants take on water. But on the upside, they dry really quick - like going from soaking to dry in a couple of hours. They are perfect for the price.

I am 6'1", 180lbs and the large fits me with plenty of room for layering. It just depends on what you want to do in this jacket. If you want some room for layers, I would get the medium. But if you don't want too much room get the small. I also own some gore-tex that fits close to the skin, and it definitely gets wet faster than this jacket. More room also allows for less condensation.

This pack is absolutely perfect for day hikes, long or short, summer or winter. There is plenty of room for rain gear, layering clothes, and lunch. The water bottle holders hold the water bottles through anything and the H2O hydration bag area is perfect and takes up little room. The only thing about this backpack that was strange was the break-in time. It took two months of serious sweat to get this pack formed to my figure (6'1" 180lbs). At first, the backpack was uncomfortable but after about two months it started to feel great and it fits very comfortably now.
Great all around day pack.

I have had this jacket for just over a year now... I have never had one problem with it. Living in Yellowstone four months of the year, this Jacket has been put though some rough conditions, and it passes by my accounts.
I love that it opens up like a poncho, my current daypack doesn't have a rain fly and with a little twine and some engineering, i 'ponchoed' this jacket over the pack in more than one real bad down pour and it worked absolutely great.
It fits like a true large, it sheds water and wind, and rolls up real tight. The pockets are big enough for whatever you want to carry. And with only medium weight underwear top, i can snowshoe in this jacket all day in January.

No problems yet, and i do not foresee any.
