I'm a warm sleeper and bought this bag for winter mountaineering in washington. It is rarely near zero here - more often temps drop to 10-20 degrees. I am always cold, with a 2" thermarest or a z-rest, in a bivy sack, tent or snow cave. I bought this bag as when I was young and dumb, i used a mountain hardware phantom 32 year round - and wasn't too cold at night with my puffy coat on in the winter. I can't say this is much of an improvement, and is 3lbs heavier! I understand this is a cheap bag, but that should reflect the bulkyness - i have much less respect for mountain hardware after using this bag.
