I'm not sure anyone at BD tried out the diagonal ski carry system on this pack or else they probably would have repositioned the loops. I used this pack a fair amount and really liked it until I tried to carry my skis with it. My skis felt really unstable and seemed as though they were almost laying horizontally. This becomes especially annoying anytime a boot pack hugs trees or a rock band. I had a little higher expectations for black diamond.

This is a great jacket! This is the first long puffy I have owned and its awesome. This jacket keeps me warm even when the temps drop below zero. I am 5'7 and 115ibs and I was right in between the small and x small. I went with the the small which is a bit roomy but lets you wear a couple layers under when its really cold! I also love the navy color!

I got the amore down jacket for christmas and it is a great jacket for skiing. It has a nice simple design and is perfect for cold days. It seems very well made and has a more durable outer fabric than most other puffys i have owned. As other reviewers have mentioned the sizing is definitely a little off. I generally wear a small, I am 5'7'' and 115lbs but I have a medium in this coat. The arms on the small were way to short, especially when I raised my arms. The jacket also has a powder skirt which is nice although unless I am wearing a bulky fleece underneath it is too loose and there is plenty of space for snow to come up. I have this jacket in vibrant blue which is actually a little bit more purple than the picture but it is still a great color.
