I have been very impressed with this jacket. After my car broke down and I ended up biking between 60 and 80 miles a week, this jacket came in extremely handy. It hardly weighs anything, packs up tight, and provides a great wind/rain barrier while allowing for a good amount of ventilation. Also, the screaming yellow color makes you much more visible on the road (personal preference).

I have used these gaiters on several snow shoeing trips and they have performed extremely well. They are smaller which means you are going to want water/resistant pants in case you sink deep in the snow, but the gaiters hold tight, keep the snow out, and I feel like my legs get a good deal of ventilation with the gaiters being as short as they are. Overall, I am very satisfied with them.

Before I purchased these boots, I had been using another pair I found for a great deal that kept my feet dry and warm. The problem with them was that my feet would rub around very slightly while I hiked. This resulted in large blisters. The Asolo Moran GTX Boot is everything you could want in a boot! I can hike for hours on end without sore feet and they stay dry despite hiking in slushly snow for hours.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love how light weight and easier to pack this pillow is, however, the downside is that it takes getting used to sleeping on an inflatable pillow. If you are going for minimalist then I highly recommend it. If comfort is more of your thing, then you might want to look into a compressible pillow.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This glove was exactly what I was looking for. A light weight glove that would keep my hands warm but not limit my manual dexterity. The OmniHeat thermal reflective material does a great job at keeping your hands warm and if you are going to be in some really cold terrain, this glove also works well as a glove liner. Also, the silicone palm grip makes grabbing things much easier. Overall I am very impressed.
