snl's Bio

I love to shred whatever I can find- whether it is a jump in front of our school library or some bumps in the Rockies. I am an East Coaster and sadly to say.. we all know the mountains are kinda sucky out here (except Vermont!) but I make do and still have an amazing time and really appreciate when I do get to ride the big mountains. Can't wait for next season.... :) Oh and I looove ice cream

I have skinny ankles and could never find good boots to keep my ankles in place. THESE ARE AWESOME!! I have ridden them for two LONG seasons (i have last year's model) and my only complaint is that the battery hook up for the boot warmer ripped off. I highly recommend getting the warmers, they are awesome as well. These are a softer boot, a little less responsive then something super stiff- but I absolutely love them, they are warm, supportive, and comfortable. The ankle pads do take some time to settle into the right spot, but once they do it is so worth it.I honestly do not think I will ever buy a different line of boot- finding one to fit this well took long enough!!

I just got mine today! And so far, I love them.. and I have not even hit the slopes. The sound is great and I feel like I have my own little surround sound bubble... great for tuning out that weird old guy on the lift sitting next to you.

Cons: I have an iphone and I am used to the sweet controllers on the iphone headphones- this pretty much just lets you talk and adjust the volume. you cannot use voice control to shuffle to the next song, call someone... or do whatever else you do with voice command. So it looks like you will still have to get your phone out to dial and select new play lists (rough life.. eh?)

the mic end of the wire is also really close to the phone so you have to keep you phone in a pocket near your chest

you can hear the music from outside the helmet... so profane language full songs are a no no around other peeps... :)

I have the feel good and I snagged this one day for $111 on backcountry... I figured I was an idiot NOT to buy it. I rode it and felt like a new woman. My feel good is a 149 and I got this in a 150- it is great in the park, spins nicely, makes buttering easy, is super flexy, and I rode 2 feet of wet pow pow yesterday and had a great time. It was a litter slower than the feel good... but the mountain we were on was pretty dinky so that may have been a factor.

Get this board, you will like it a LOT.

P.S. I am 5'6" 140 lbs for size referencing

I would wear these ALL the time. These are my 3rd pair of boots since i have started riding and they will probably be my last. I have very skinny ankles and have never been able to find a boot that actually kept my foot in place (I would turn toe side and my heel would lift up making it very hard for me to control the responsiveness of my board). I had burton freestyle's for 5 years which I really liked but "ugraded" to DC judges which I also thought I liked until I got these. The sapphires are the most comfortable boot I have worn, they have great support, the pads keep my ankles nice and snug, and I know there are all these boots with fancy boa and crazy lacing systems but you really do get the best custom fit with regular old laces. These also have a spot for a heater pack so if you are always freezing like me and wear toe warmers, you can get an electric one so you don't have to mess with those anymore. I am so glad I bought these. Oh and I have them in coach and every one on my ski team is obsessed with them, even random people have commented how sweet they are.

This board actually does what I tell it to do! It doesn't get "squirrley" when riding really fast and it is nice and light for getting air. It has gotten a lot of love from me this season. The ICS set up is cool because you can really custom fit your set up to exactly how you want it. I have 2006 escapades and they work really well with it (non EST). My only complaint is durability but I am also really hard on my board so maybe I am not the best source. I am so glad that I invested in this board this season, it has really allowed me to advance my riding to the next level. It also has a sick graphic, I am constantly getting compliments.
