I'm not sure I would have called the lacing system 'Speed Zone', it takes me just as long to wind the strings up after as it does to tie a normal boot. I will say however, that it doesn't bother me, because the adjustability is fantastic! I like to have my lower boot loose so my feet have some room, but my upper boot tight so I stay secure, and this is the best I've had in a boot. Also, the lacing system is extremely easy to adjust on the go too (maybe thats where the 'Speed Zone' name comes from). Instead of having to re-lace the entire boot, you can just tweak whichever spot needs loosening or tightening.

This is my first high-end jacket, and so far I love it. Spent the day snowboarding in rainy spring conditions at Whistler, and the only parts of me that stayed dry were under my jacket. I agree with many other reviews that it is tight across the shoulders. It's obvious when I'm testing the limits of my range of motion, but it never impeded me on the mountain, and I have a pretty athletic build. That being said, I got the jacket in a slimmer fit (M), and there probably isn't enough room to get many layers on those really cold days.
The zipper is a bit stiff sometimes, can be difficult to fiddle with when I have gloves on. The hood fits extremely well, and is large enough for a helmet, but has adjustments to fit it without.
