I picked one of these up at a local retailer as I was heading out of town to go camping. I was in a bit of a hurry and never thought about opening it up to see how it worked prior to continuing on to my destination. Similar to another reviewer the one I purchased just did not work, no matter what I tried the rim was saddle shaped and the sink would not stand up or hold water making me a bit regretful of my purchase. After my trip I stopped at the retailer I purchased the sink at to see if I could exchange it for another. While at the retailer I ended up going through all of their inventory with the assistance of a sales associate and each one was exactly the same with the exception of the last one on the display peg that was clearly older packaging, that one worked correctly. In examining them it was clear that there were differences between the one that worked properly and the newer ones on display. The older one the diameter of the rim was smaller than the rest of the sink and seemed more flexible while the newer ones the diameter of the rim was the same as the rest of the sink and the rim was stiffer. Needless to say the sales associate pulled all of the newer sinks off the shelf to return them to the manufacturer. I'm just glad that they had one that worked as it should because this is a really neat item, the one I now have does exactly what it should and does pack down nice and small. Regarding star ratings I'm giving the one I now have a 5, the 2 dozen I looked at that didn't work would have gotten a 1.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have the 9ft version of this tarp. Firstly, the 9ft version is actually 10ft x 10ft so I'm not sure why they call it their 9ft model. Other than that it is well made and offers many different option for setting up, the included stakes are about as basic as you can get but the figure 9 guyline adapters are a really nice addition.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

As soon as I tried this shirt on it became one of my favorites. This is a very light, stretchy, comfortable fabric that dries very quickly and packs small making it perfect for travel, adventure or just around town. Compared to the rest of my Stoic clothing it runs a little smaller so be prepared that even though it looks like a button down camp shirt it actually fits like an athletic fit polo. I have 2 of these and am just trying to decide what color to pick up next...

I really like this material as a heavier base under a shell or by itself on not so cold or windy days. I've read that some other reviewers do not think this material breaths or wicks moisture well but I find that it does both. My only dislike about this product is the extremely long arms, I have a stocky build and thick neck and a L fits me really good but the arms are really, really loonnngggg. This is one of the Stoic pieces that if definetly cut for the tall, skinny, long limb type; if the arms were a bit shorter I would have given it 5 stars.
