Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Fit: Runs large
I couldn't wait to try this new trail skirt. The fabric is nice and stretchy but durable and who wouldn't want waterproofing in the fanny, right? Pockets are great, waist with no buttons is great for backpacking, back zipper is even covered with a flap of fabric so it doesn't rub into your back. I was so bummed because for starters, it actually ran big. I ordered the next two sizes down and they fit better but gapped wildly at the waist. I am a proportionate 5'9. The biggest problem with this skirt is how short it is--like tennis skirt short. The waterproofing in the butt doesn't matter if you are sitting on your panties--the skirt doesn't end up under you when you sit. Even on a shorter gal I don't see it working out. I would love a skirt like this from Sierra Designs if it were longer and fit properly in the waist!
