I was impressed with these pants out of the box, sturdy material, seemless zippers, adequate cuffguard and nicely sized exterior vents. Unfortunately Patagonia continues to cut their pants for square shaped people with stick legs. I'm 5'5" and 125lbs and ordered a small, needless to say they were huge in the waist and tight in the thighs. They would be fine for walking around I guess, but I'm not sure how you would skin or boot pack comfortably since they are so tight in the thigh area. I can hardly lift my leg or squat down once I put underlayers on. And even with the adjustable waist tabs and a belt, they felt all bunched up and cumbersome. Also, the back still looked like a giant snow scoop! They did get the length right and fit over my boot nicely. However there are no external zippers at the cuff so if you buckle and unbuckle your boots at the beginning/end of a run its kind of a pain to get at them. The color is pretty sweet too. So if you are skinny with no hips, these pants are for you, if you are muscular in the leg or have a few curves I wouldn't recommend them. Tele girls stay away! Patagonia, I really like your clothing, but when are you going to switch to a more athletic womens cut??!!

I bought these boots at the beginning of last year and was a little skeptical, but figured I would give them a try since I had been hearing good things about them. Well, skeptic no more. These are the best boots I've ever owned. Period. I've always skied very stiff Tecnica race boots. Translate: uncomfortable, sometimes painful boots. I just thought you had to sacrifice comfort for response and aggressiveness. Until I met Soul Sister. They are so comfortable, I almost feel guilty wearing such a foot loving boot! I did switch out the 6 tongue for an 8 tongue, the active boot board for the rigid boot board (active did not work well with my footbeds) and power strap and wow, what an awesome boot!!! All the response, stiffness and agility I want and it feels like I'm wearing slippers. Serious, I'm not joking. No more trips to the tuning shop to try and get my boots to fit, these babies were ready to go! So weather you want to rip some groomers, pop over the tops of moguls, hide in the trees all day, find your favorite powder stash or huck a few small cliffs these boots will not let you down. And your feet, ankles and calves will be loving it too! Check out the Full Tilt website for all the replacement parts you may want or need. Thats another bonus, replaceable Intuition Liners. So if you wear out your liner you don't need to cough up serious dough for a new boot, just buy a new liner! Love these boots!!!

I should have read the reviews before ordering. I'm 5'5" 125lbs, ordered a small and yes, they were huge!!! I even like to wear my pants baggy and a little long. If you're 5'9" and 160lbs order the small, they will fit. Other than that, they're a great pant, nice sturdy material, bomber cuff/ski guard, waterproof zippers, vents could be a little bigger, but they're located on the exterior thigh which is nice for hiking. Rasberry Rose w/ neon green zips is a cool color too!
