I really like these bindings. If you're looking for something with a lot of flex in the powder and for locking in those presses these bindings are great. The high back flexes with your ankle and lower calf when you take off the lip of a jump or when you have to pop a fat ollie onto a down rail, but still maintains enough rigidity to keep you centered on those overshot landings. The cushioning above the base plate is really thick and absorbs a lot of the impact even when landing flat and the click and slide removal eliminates the need for an extra screw and makes binding adjustments a breeze. The toe cap conforms around the toe of the boot rather than pushing into it, which eliminates pinched toes, a problem I have encountered with many other binding models.all this being said I do have to complain that if you are someone who is looking for a binding that will last through knuckling a 60 footer or you consider yourself an expert rider this is not the binding for you.
I'm 6'1" and 165 pounds and a size 10.5 boot, while the L does run slightly too large I still snapped both the ankle straps where the padding goes across the ankle and where it attaches to the binding frame after only about 6 months of riding . I'll be returning these for something built for a more aggressive rider, but over all pretty great.
