I'm from back eat and I went on a ski trip to Utah and basically never left. Within 6 months I was headed cross country to my new home.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are essentially Kinco work gloves, so you know they are tough. I basically have the same Kinco work glove but without the cuff to ski with. The added cuff is great and they came with a snow seal baked in so I'm set for this season. With the cuff, these easily fit under my jacket, and keep me very warm.

Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use this jacket under my shell for skiing and it keeps me very warm. It is so light that I do not even notice I have it on. The hood is perfect, adding extra warmth while on a chairlift. This jacket packs down very small, which is great because it does not take up much space in my pack while out touring.

This is a great mitt at a great price. It is essentially a Kinco work mitt, but with an added cuff, and Flylow double bakes the water proofing in. It keeps my hands very warm on the coldest days. I would only add some palm grips to it.

Its everything you need to get started (minus the iron). The scraper has stayed sharp over many many uses. The wax really does work well in all conditions, and the nylon brush helps you get that nice shine. Definitely worth it. You will want to add some ptex repair candles and a metal scraper as well. That way you cover all the basics.
