Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love my ESN. I have the 3100 and have fallen in love with euro-nymphing techniques. This rod is awesome for long leader tight-line nymphing and its soft tip is perfect to punch the nymphs exactly where I want them, but also allows me to feel every little bump on the flies. I only wish I had the 3110, the 11' version, as I think even more length would be great. That being said, I love the 10' model; and on a 3wt rod I have caught some large fish with ease. I totally recommend the rod.

I love the Gold. It has quickly become one of my favorite all around lines for just about anything. It loads fast rods well and has a taper that will cast nicely at distance. I was casting as far as I could on an alpine lake and it would still land a dry fly softly, buy way out there.

I returned my Hardy Zenith 10' 4wt for the One 4100. The Hardy felt just slightly too whippy/slow for me. While I like the One better, it's still feels just a hair fast. I have been surprised that it fishes so nicely and doesn't seem to overpower little fish. I think it'll just take some getting used to. Overall I'm pleased. I think it's a better all around rod in the 10' 4wt than the Hardy. I felt like the Hardy was designed with something more specific in mind as it felt much slower than its 9' counterparts.
