I've got the option of using either mount positions on the old version of these skis. Any input on preferences? Not sure how big the "sweet spot" is on this ski, and if the 16mm diff will be noticeable.

Looking to switch from Hamerheads to NTN. How do they compare? I can see the pro's of the NTN as far as easier touring, crampon compatable boots, Dtnafit crossover etc., but how do they ski? I use the extra stiff HH springs.

By far the best performing/touring tele binding around. Not quite Hammerhead power, but far better on the up. The only issue I've got so far is a bit of play when in ski mode. Once the binding "settled in", a bit of up and down play appeared when locked into ski mode. Not a lot, but it's detectable when dropping into a turn (after 2 days of use). Anyone else get this? I shouldn't complain. Got the stiff springs, pin in #3 position and it's good enough for most. By comparason, my Hammerheads are in position 5, with stiff springs, making for probably the burliest tele binding available. Once you're used to that, well..... These give me no excuse not to do one more lap, and no excuse to not rip it up, and down!

Cheers to 22 Designs!
