Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

this jacket is awesome, so very warm and comfortable, its so lite and comfortable that i really cant feel it when its on! i have worn it in negative 6f wind chills with just a regular T-shirt under it and i was perfectly warm!

my first impression however was "Im sending it back!"
why? because i was not understand the cinch cords! i couldn't figure out how to keep them from automatically just going back after being pulled and having the hood fall back off my head.. but when you grab the concept of the hidden cinch thing's inside the hood! it works great and stay exactly where you draw them to..

at first it felt like i was pulling them so hard they would break and in the end i just went for it and pulled them good and felt them going through and that's when it all stayed to where i pulled them.

so don't be afraid to give them a good ole tug!

the hood is awesome too, its nicely insulated and works wonders.

i would say it has ample pocket space, although the pockets are Not! fleece lined they are however very nice and warm and soft!

im 5'10 160 165 lbs and i have a Large and it fits perfect.

im 5'10, 165ish..i ordered a large ebony blue color.

i give this product a 2 out of 5 only because its shell is awesome and waterproof and its hood is pretty damn good too!

as far as warmth goes.. i have never worn such a cold jacket! bare in mind the large was a bit to big for me and this could be a factor!

but with powder skirt wrapped round and all cinch cords pulled tight, my back and arms were freezing! so i returned it..

i previously owned a Stoic insulated bombshell and that was a much much better jacket than this, also warmer!

never pay full 300 for this jacket, its not even close to worth it!

it looks sharp tho.

Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i have the Beehive color from last year and i love it, its a great jacket! very Durable and waterproof and warm just what i wanted..
its super warm with just a small fleece under it i was able to be outside walking the dog at minus 20 no worries.. also on climbs in Colorado in the middle of winter, great jacket for sure!

i did try Exchange mine for another one though as the right wrist gator had been sewn on wrong when it was made! the thumb hole in the gator is facing out away from the torso.. so i have to twist my wrist to get the gator on but then it twists the arm and gator back round when i relax my arm! makes it uncomfortable on the inseam of my thumb, but i could not return it for a direct exchange as i got my bombshell on sale for 197 bucks and when i tried doing the exchange i would of had to of paid the full amount of the product as it was no longer on sale.. that is a huge difference in price 330 bucks vs my 197 i paid!

so im waiting for them to go on sale again so i can do the swap as i 100% want this jacket! but i just want one without the wrist gator issue, the left wrist gator is perfect like the rest of the jacket save for the right wrist gator!.

that's why i still gave the jacket a 5/5 because the jacket in general is great, i just have this small fault with mine!

i always hear bad things about synthetic bags but this one is awesome! i put it thru hell and back for a week long adventure in colorado where it performed perfectly.. even on them mornings where you wake up to a glistening tent with frost EVERYWHERE including all over your sleeping bag and look at the mercury and it is reading 25 below freezing. but yet this bag kept me warm and comfy even when it was really wet.. its a bag that when you're out in the wilderness you just dont wanna get out of it ever! i tested it out on mount elbert when we camped at 12000ft in the very deep snow and had 30mph winds.. just an awesome bag.

Service by BC: awesome service with great delivery time, it took 2 days for it to get to my door, thanks.

Product: solid lamp that is REALLY bright and is light on the head, nice and comfy to the point where it dont feel like anything is on your head after a few minutes of wearing it. its storm proof and has a battery indicator and a "find me light" which is dead healpfull to spot it at night time in the camp or in your backpack as the little find me light blinks every 3 seconds while the lamp is switched off, it uses next to no power and will blink for around 5 YEARS, without changing batteries..
i like its dimming feature also.. so on any of the settings weather its a LED setting or the Xenon setting you have 3 different brightnesess to choose from.

BOTTOM LINE, buy this lamp and it will not let you down.

this is a super good pack with an ungodly amount of little features and a hella lot of straps and pockets, it has a really good size sleeping bag compartment that fits the Mountain Hardwear Lamina minus 15 degrees sleeping bag inside of it, but that is a huge bag and it still takes up room that you wish it wouldn't (i have the Medium Sized Backpack.).. it will fit a 2 man tent and a good bag in there with a few other things in there. also, this pack is sooo comfy its almost unreal! has a removable hydration sleeve that has shoulder straps and a couple of small pockets so it can be used as a very small pack on its own maybe for some food and snacks. the lid comes off and can be used for whatever you want, i'm sure some use it as a pillow.. the back panel is pretty adjustable which is a nice feature, you can slide it up and down to get the pack at the right height on you back to suite you. it also has zips here there and everywhere so you can get to any part of your pack at any time, there is a zip that runs from the top to the bottom of the pack on the left front side that goes directly in to the main pack compartment. ugh there are a lot of good things about this pack but i'm getting bored of typing now!! BOTTOM LINE: Buy the pack, its great!
