Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit: True to size

These make for good late summer/mid season hiking and climbing pants. Stretchy where needed and sturdy where wearing hits the most. Like them a lot even to go out and about. I am 5'9", 176 lbs, and 32" waist on Levi's jeans and beer belly; size M fits perfect.

Fit: Runs small

I have to say this is my first pair of tri-shorts so I don't know how they usually are. I have many years of cycling, running and swimming under my belt so my opinion may be useful. Size: i am 5'9", 176 lbs, 32x34 on Levi's Jeans, I bought Large and fits good. The padding seems enough for biking but not too much to feel you have Sponge Bob rubbing you private parts while you swim and run. The fabric has a leathery look, kinda fetish...but not something a father of two boys would be ashamed to wear (yeah i am still talking about spandex ;) the red lines and the brand logo makes the pretty cool looking. The cord to keep them tight on the waist is not there and it'll be dearly missed.

Size: I ordered my average number (10 US-43 Eu) and they fit perfectly in lenght, although is a 10.B so they are narrow... still confortable enough (for me).
Manufacturing: materials are awesome, other brands have dreams of this stuff. However, some seam are dubbed or too close together (just on the big toe's upper notch) and it hurts; I may resolve the problem with a cobbler anvil or I will wear them every day until they break in (the shoe, not my toes...).
Inner sole system: good especially if you find them too narrow you can remova a layer.
Lacing: awesome, like free climbing shoes.
Sole: feels like hiking boots
Weight: they feel a bit heavy.
Look: very good looking shoes.
Overall: great product for the money, need to be broken in, and make sure you don't have a super-wide foot. I was expecting a bit more from a pair of Italian shoes...
