Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
The North Face Patrol 34 is so far the best pack I've owned. It can do so many activities for almost all 4 seasons. The face material is awesome, durable, despite my first impressions of it being so thin. The pack fits excellent, better than any other I've had, having many adjustments for a customized fit. The goggle pocket is an excellent addition, along with the hinch 2.0. The pack can hold enough for an over-night excursion, and the aluminum frame allows me to carry up to 30 lbs comfortably. The crampon pocket is also nice. The pack can do so many sports, whether it be hiking, climbing, skiing, and the list just goes on and on. I personally think the Patrol 34 is the best pack in it's class.
