if you wear a size 12, I would recommend gettin these in a size 12. What kind of a question is that???
I'm a big Sanuk fan. I have a few pair of Sanuk flip-flops, and this is my 4th pair of "sidewalk surfers." I have given anything I've ever had in Sanuk 5 stars, except these. I do lilke my board rooms, but was disappointed in the shape of these. You can see from looking at the top and bottom photos. These don't have the same 'boxy' toe as all of there other sandals. These have more of a conventional narrow toe space of your normal shoe. Not nearly as much room as my Donny's. I still wear these to work every day and they are better than any other work shoe, but i wish they had the same footprint as all of there other sidewalk surfers. If you compare the footprint of these vs. the donny's, you'll see what I mean.
I can't add anything more to the reviews and functionalities of this watch that haven't already been said a dozen times by all of the previous reviews. I will say I love my core. I've had it for almost 4 years. Here is a shout out to the service of suunto. I didn't know anyone in the world had service as good as backcountry.com's. Like i said, I've had mine for almost 4 years, and it was seriously beat up. It's the only watch I wear for anything, and it showed. My "light" button stopped working one day after I dropped it. Not too big a deal that I couldn't use the light function, except that button is also needed in scrolling down in different menus. So basically the watch wasn't useable for too much of anything. I called up suunto (their U.S. headquarters for repairs is in Ogden Utah) and they told me how to get all of the forms printed off from their website to send it in for repair. I sent it in and it returned in about 5 days (they paid for shipping both ways.) I was just expecting to have my repaired watch. I was surprised to find that instead of my fixed watch, they just sent me a brand new watch! (By the way, i would have just sent it back to backcountry.com and they would have done the same thing, but i bought my core on e-bay, so that wasn't an option.) Exceptional customer service. I'm a suunto guy for life!-in fact, i just bought my wife an M5 as she is a runner. I give the core 5 stars, and i also give suunto 5 stars.
Ive had my core for about 4 years. I have to change the battery every 5-6 months or so. I just by them in bulk from one of any number of different online "battery stores." You can find them for under a buck each. Just change it yourself. Takes about 30 seconds. Well worth it, love my core.
Yes, all you need is a pair of bindings-as far as the board goes...... Collapsable poles, beacon, avalung, shovel/probe etc etc.
I was trying to be nice to my wife and all by surprising her with random gift. I knew to order big from previous reviews so i got her a 10. (She wears mostly 4 and 6 sized stuff, so i would call her a 5, but i'm just a guy and found out that you stick with even numbers. Now I know!) Anyway, even with a 10, she could barely breath! She had to keep pulling the collar away from her neck because it was choking her. It's too bad because she thought it was so cute before she put it on.......She will probably send it back for a 14 or a 16 (or maybe a 15.)
