Seems like one of the best mixes of price, quality and purpose. Bought on sale here so good price. Perhaps smaller and lighter available but a material step up in cost for what were not material benefits and for me limited to weight and size. In a compression sack it would squeeze down well. Have used a few times - really warm and like water resistant nature.

We have it in green - we also have a halo 4. This was a little cheaper and slightly less roomy than the halo 4. A bit more vertical height and a little less side height if that makes sense. We find this tent a bit warmer overnight than the halo - a few less vents and a bit hotter in summer - due to the colour and less vents. Great tent, rock solid construction, good value ( particularly when on sale). No rear vestibule or rear door - but not a problem. Have camped with two adults and 2 kids in this and not so heavy for short hiking in if other three are taking some load

Easy to use - heaps of space - great for car camping - have done 2 adults and 2 young kids easily - good vestibule space. Got a little extra bend in some of poles after a while. Has really stood up well to heaps of use. Better in slightly warmer weather in my opinion. Everything it is cracked up to be
