I have this down sweater and have used it very hard- lotsa pancake syrup on the sleeves ground in with some oil from under the truck- a few snags and pulls on the stitching- still keeping me warm and comfy and no loss of feathers-so I just ordered another one in Deep Space- these jackets wash up great (dry with two tennis balls !!!) and pack like nothing else- treat yourself to one- R

this has the best waist draw-cord I have ever seen- totally technical and works perfect- the cut is unlike any other jacket I have- I'm 5'10" and 189 pounds and the large fits perfect- I tried a medium on at a local store and it was too small so I knew to order a large- the cuffs have no elastic so if you don't get them adjusted just right you have to loosen them to take the jacket off- i wish it had a small amout of elastic but I have adjusted them so I can work the cuffs off my wrists without pulling the velcro apart- the pockets are the best, the are higher up than most jackets so when you put stuff in the pockets like your cell phone it doesn't fall down to belt level- I echo the comments of the last reviewer and suggest that you really try this jacket on to get the perfect fit- its way better in person that the pictures online- very light and the collar is just right - well worth the $250.

I returned mine- this bag looks very awesome- it's not up to the quality for the money- total Chinese low grade materials in my opionion - not what I expected - again looks cool but that's it- I went with an Ogio but really like the Eagle Creek best for this type of bag- the Eagle Creek has the no questions asked warantee that is the gold standard-

I'm 5'10" and the arms and body are LONG on this jacket for me- the arms are cut much skinnier than other patagonia down styles (fitz roy + down sweater) - the other thing I wish was better was the pockets- they should be higher and the zippers should be more on an angle closer to the middle of the jacket rather than on the sides- this is a great jacket just wish it was cut better for my shape- get one- yea, its a bit pricey but hey it Pat-uh-gucci...
